Lee Abel is a San Francisco Bay Area native whose clients range from

Stanford University to the legendary reggae band Steel Pulse.  Her images

have been used on over 90 album covers and for countless print and web

publications. including two editions of Lonely Planet Jamaica and

The Encyclopedia of Reggae: The Golden Age of Roots Reggae.

Many of her documentary and music photographs are part of the permanent

exhibit at the Museum of the African Diaspora (MOAD) in San Francisco.

She believes in giving back to Jamaica and has most recently taught photography

at the University of the West Indies and volunteered for the non-profit

The Blue Mountain Project to photograph their work and the community

in and around Hagley Gap.
